Abdul Khalad

Abdul Khalad is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in process engineering and management. Currently serving as the Plant Manager at Biffa since November 2016, Abdul oversees operations at the West Sussex MBT site and has held various engineering roles, including Engineering Manager and Head of Engineering at the same company. Prior experience includes significant positions at AECOM and URS Corporation, where responsibilities encompassed process deliverables within nuclear and non-nuclear sectors. Early career roles at Atkins, Tata Steel, and other organizations focused on process engineering and delivering cost-saving solutions. Abdul Khalad holds an MEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from Aston University, obtained in 2005.
