Steve Kooy

Steve Kooy currently serves as the Technical Director for Health and Sustainability at BIFMA, a role held since January 2021, focusing on strategy development and oversight of health and sustainability performance services. In addition, Steve Kooy is an Adjunct Professor at Aquinas College, teaching sustainable management to upperclassmen. Previous roles include National Sales Executive and Business Development Manager at Intertek, President of Rushmore Sustainability Services, Director of Sales and Marketing at SCS Global Services, and various sustainability-focused positions at Haworth, including Global Sustainability Manager and Sr. Environmental Engineer. Early career experience includes project management at Elmridge Construction and work as an Environmental Engineer at Steelcase. Steve Kooy holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan.
