Avery Wright

Avery Wright has extensive experience in sports management, currently serving as Championships Assistant at the Big 12 Conference since August 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Graduate Teaching Assistant, Intern for the Director of Athletics, Graduate Assistant, and Student Assistant at Texas Tech University from October 2019 to August 2021. Avery also worked as a volunteer assistant during the Big 12 Championships in March 2020 and briefly with the NCAA in February 2021. Earlier experience includes a student assistant role at South Plains College from August 2016 to February 2017. Avery holds a Master's degree in Sport Management and a Bachelor's degree in Human Sciences with a focus on Human Resources Management and Services, both from Texas Tech University.
