Jack O'Brien is an experienced sales and communications professional currently serving as a Columnist for TEN Media's Powder Magazine since December 2023, where a weekly and bi-weekly telemark column is maintained. O'Brien has held the position of Group Sales Manager at Big Agnes Inc since August 2022 and previously worked at Honey Stinger from 2015 to March 2022 in various roles including Western Regional Sales Manager and Independent and Key Account Sales Manager. Earlier experience includes serving as a Server at the Ore House at the Pine Grove from December 2011 to May 2016. Jack O'Brien holds a degree in History from the University of Colorado Boulder.

At our core, we want to inspire you to get outside and find the same appreciation for the backcountry we have. In 2001, Big Agnes started without a real plan, but with a mission: Make the best gear possible to help folks like you get outside and chase your dreams. Respected industry vets told us we were crazy, and the camping market was “too saturated”. Still, we were driven to make better gear and be apart of some really cool adventures, so we kept at it. Based in a ski town in northwestern Colorado, our backyard is an outdoor paradise with testing grounds right out our front door. The Continental Divide Trail is home to some of our favorite trails for skiing, hiking, and mountain biking. The Mount Zirkel Wilderness beckons us with its high alpine summits; its highest peak is the inspiration behind the company’s name. A stone’s throw from our office flows the Yampa River. Most lunch hours you’ll find an office quiet enough to hear a pin drop while we’re out finding fresh air or tracks testing the gear you’ll be using for your own adventures.
