Maliah Mathis is a seasoned professional in program management and administration, currently serving as Program Director at Big Buddy Program since February 2021, where responsibilities include supervising frontline staff and program managers, as well as facilitating program coordination and communication. Maliah has been with Big Buddy since September 2016, initially as Program Manager for the Level-UP! Mentoring and Workforce Development Program aimed at high school students in East Baton Rouge Parish. Previous experience includes roles at AmeriCorps and City Year, with notable contributions as a Level UP! Program Advisor during an internship at Big Buddy. Maliah holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, and Health Science from Louisiana State University and a Master of Science in Nonprofit Administration from LSU Shreveport.
