Studio Art Director at Big Huge Games

Tim Coman has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Tim started their career at Williams / Bally / Midway as an Artist / Game Developer from 1989 to 1993. Tim then worked at Studio E as the Director of Video Operations from 1993 to 1995. Tim went on to be the CEO / Executive Producer at Digital Lobster from 1995 to 1997, followed by working as a Game Developer at Play Mechanix from 1997 to 2000. Tim joined Inland Productions as an Art Director from 2000 to 2002, and then moved to Day 1 Studios as an Art Director from 2002 to 2009. Tim had overlapping roles during this time, as they also joined Big Huge Games as a Studio Art Director from 2009 to 2012 and worked as a Project Art Lead from 2009 to 2012. Tim then joined Impossible Studios as an Art Director from 2012 to 2013, and Arkane Studios as an Art Director from 2013 to 2014. Currently, Tim is back at Big Huge Games as an Art Director since 2020 and has been promoted to Studio Art Director in 2021.

Tim Coman attended the American Academy of Art for the field of study in Illustration. Additionally, they pursued their passion for film at Columbia College Chicago. However, no specific start or end years or degree names were provided for either institution.
