Dania Herrera

Dania Herrera has worked in the software engineering field since 2016. Dania began their career as a Learning and Development Coordinator at Mazars USA LLP, where they built databases using Microsoft Access for curriculum creation and program tracking. Dania also used databases to create agendas, training schedules, program trackers, compliance trackers, and curriculums. Additionally, they created custom evaluations for each program based on learning objectives and outcomes. In 2019, they joined Big Human as a Product Manager and Software Engineer. In this role, they developed responsive React UI components and pages for websites using design mockups from Figma and Zeplin. Dania also set up Prismic and Contentful (headless cms) and connected it to a React Front End for various pages and components. Additionally, they developed pages and components for Shopify Websites using Liquid, SCSS, and Jquery. Prior to joining Big Human, they were a Software Engineering Intern at the company.

Dania Herrera completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Baruch College in 2016. Dania then attended the Flatiron School Software Engineering Immersive Bootcamp from December 2018 to April 2019, where they learned Javascript, React.js, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, HTML, and CSS.
