Chief Engineer (Software and Modeling Tools) at Big Ladder Software

Michael O'Keefe has a long and varied work experience. Michael began their career in 1998 as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington, and also completed an Internship at Nippon Steel Corporation that same year. In 2000, they joined the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as a Senior Research Engineer and Senior Engineer. In 2011, they were appointed Chief Engineer at Big Ladder Software, where they were responsible for engineering software and consulting. In 2013, they became Principal and Owner at ImagineMade LLC. In 2014, they returned to Big Ladder Software as Chief Engineer (Software and Modeling Tools), where they generated engineering documentation for the EnergyPlus program and assisted with the authoring and maintenance of engineering software.

Michael O'Keefe received their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Arizona University in 1996, and their Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington in 2000.
