Established in June of 2015, Big Oyster Brewery is owned and operated by Jeff Hamer and his management staff. Jeff has been part of the Rehoboth Beach food and beverage community for more than thirty years. 
In the fall of 2013, Jeff and his staff opened Fins Ale House and Raw Bar on Coastal Highway in Rehoboth beach, the birth place of Big Oyster. Big Oyster started in the back of the Fins restaurant with a small 7 barrel brew system. That we still use to brew all of our on location brews! 
We eventually opened our larger facility in Lewes  in 
September of 2017.  
Big oyster brewery currently features an outdoor patio, with live music every weekend,  an expansive bar area in which to enjoy
 happy hour or dinner, an incredible gift shop in which to purchase 
Fins and Big Oyster memorabilia, and most importantly our 
Brewery which features ton of great brews!
