Chris Evetts

Chris Evetts is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in educational and project management roles. Currently serving as a Client Services Project Manager at Big Thought since March 2021, Chris previously held the position of Director of Bands at Dallas Independent School District for nearly nine years, leading a successful marching and concert band program and achieving notable recognition on NBC's Today Show. Chris also contributed as Interim Director of Bands at Highland Park ISD and as Associate Director/Director of Bands at Richardson ISD, managing various aspects of band programs including curriculum development, recruitment, and creative show production. Early career experiences included performing globally with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, training staff at New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, and supporting the Barney the Dinosaur National Tour. Chris Evetts earned a Bachelor of Science in Radio-TV-Film production and Music from Texas Christian University and a Master’s degree in Popular Music from the University of Liverpool.
