Jay Sales

Jay Sales has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Jay started their career at VIP Ltd Inc. IBM PBP, where they worked in research and development and network and software engineering. Jay then moved on to DST Output as a Senior QA Engineer before joining Hewlett-Packard as a Senior Lead Performance Engineer. Jay continued their career at VSP, where they held the role of Strategy/Performance Engineer and played a significant role in establishing the company's innovation and emerging technology strategy. Jay co-founded ThinkAgain and served as the Chief Technology Officer, overseeing technology standards and the development of an educational quiz application. Jay also played a crucial role at ATOS labs as the Originator Founder, contributing to conceptual and strategic initiatives. At VSP Global, they held two positions, starting as the Co-Founder and Director of Innovation & R&D for The Shop at VSP Global before becoming the Director of Emerging Technology. In their tenure at VSP Global, Jay managed and mentored teams, oversaw budgets, and drove the development of innovative products and solutions. Prior to their current position as Vice President of Engineering at Kamana, Jay served as the Chief Technology Officer at Vive Benefits, where they cultivated customer and investor relationships, led teams responsible for architecture and engineering, and spearheaded the transformation to a DevOps-enabled cloud product. Most recently, Jay Sales has taken on the role of Vice President of Development at BigBear.ai.

Jay Sales studied Artificial Intelligence at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, specializing in MIT Sloan & MIT CSAIL. In addition to their education, they have obtained various certifications, including "Generative AI for Everyone" from DeepLearning.AI and "Data Science: Master Machine Learning Without" from Udemy. Jay also completed multiple courses on negotiation, influence, and machine learning at the MIT Sloan School of Management and MIT Sloan Executive Education.
