Preston Huth

Preston Huth is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in managing teams and delivering innovative solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at BigCommerce since June 2019, Preston oversees two teams focused on Search and Data initiatives while ensuring the performance and scalability of critical systems such as ElasticSearch. Previous roles at BigCommerce include managing the Omni Channel and Channels organizations, where successful projects involved collaboration across teams and partners. Prior to BigCommerce, Preston held positions at Dun & Bradstreet and General Motors, contributing to significant enhancements in software applications and workflows. Preston's educational background includes an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and dual Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University, complemented by a minor in Computer Science.
