Saheed Busari

Saheed Busari, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in various technology roles. SAHEED is currently serving as the Director of Engineering & Operations - Cloud, DevOps, Security at BigHand since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Platforms - Engineering, DevOps, Security & Architecture at Sea/ by Maritech from September 2020 to January 2023. SAHEED also served as a Solutions & Security Architect at Vanquis Bank from February 2020 to September 2020.

Before that, Saheed worked as a Technical Architect & Team Lead at Smartr365, a startup software company. SAHEED was also a Board Member & CTO at Nadus, where they managed and oversaw development, architecture, and technology strategy for client projects. SAHEED gained experience as a Lead TA and Software Systems Engineer at UCL and also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Spota and DNA Creative Designs on a contract basis.

Saheed started their career as a Software Engineer at Microsoft and later worked as a Senior Software Engineer at AppZone Group. Overall, Saheed Busari, Ph.D. has extensive experience in software development, architecture, and technology strategy, with expertise in areas such as cloud, DevOps, security, and architecture.

Saheed Busari, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Lagos in 2010. SAHEED then pursued a Master's degree in Software Systems Engineering and Computer Science at UCL from 2013 to 2014. Following that, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Software Systems Engineering at UCL from 2014 to 2017.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Saheed Busari has also obtained several certifications. SAHEED is a Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and holds certifications in Azure Security Engineering, Azure Architect Design, and Azure Architect Technologies. SAHEED is also a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
