Evan Tobin

Evan Tobin is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in developer relations, technical training, and software engineering. Currently serving as Director of Developer Relations at BigID since February 2020, Evan has held multiple roles including Developer Experience Manager and Senior Technology Evangelist, focusing on software maintenance optimization and maximizing business value from data. Prior to BigID, Evan worked as a Technical Trainer at Epic, overseeing a team and transitioning training materials to web-based formats, which significantly reduced training time. Earlier experience includes software engineering internships at JDA Software and founding a technology-focused company, Trinix Creative. Evan holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
