Rick Hangartner

Rick has been developing Machine Learning algorithms to increase their platform offerings. Additionally, he has also worked on several customized ML applications built on top of the BigML platform.

Working on: Rick applies and develops Machine Learning algorithms that have focused on 1-D time series data and are associated with decision-making.

Working for: Rick has been deeply involved in the development of customized ML solutions for AccuShoot and the US Air Force.

Previous experience: Before joining BigML, he taught at Oregon State University. He was chief scientist at Strands, Inc, and a senior applications engineer at Cray, Inc.
