Jocelyn Chen has over 15 years of work experience in the technology industry. Jocelyn began their career in 2006 as a Project Manager at Gemtek Technology Co. During their tenure, they were responsible for coordinating R&D, sales, procurement, testing, manufacturing, and quality control departments to complete product development in a limited timeframe. Jocelyn also regularly updated project status with ODM customers and introduced latest product roadmaps to customers for potential business. In 2008, they moved to AsusTEK. Co as a Project Manager. Her responsibilities included monitoring the overall process of product development, convening cross-department/company meetings to accelerate problem-solving, and eliminating potential risks causing delay of new product introduction. In 2009, they joined equip / Digital Data Communications as a Product Manager. Her responsibilities included gathering information from chipset vendors and ODM suppliers to manage product plans, co-working with ODM suppliers for product development to ensure time-to-market and product quality, and training sales and marketing teams to do promotion and product education. In 2012, they joined ebizserve as a Business Development. In 2016, they were appointed as the Director of Operations at Navdy. In 2017, they moved to Oculus VR as a Strategic Sourcing Manager, Contract Manufacturing. In 2021, they were appointed as Manager, Contract Manufacturing at Meta.
Jocelyn Chen received their Bachelor of Science in International Business from National Taiwan University in 2006. In 2013, they obtained a certification in Principles of Microeconomics from Coursera.
