Jan Hoffmann

Jan Hoffmann is an accomplished professional in the fields of product management, software development, and robotics, with extensive experience in leading teams and managing projects. Currently serving as Product Manager and Head of Software at BigRep GmbH since April 2018, Jan has previously held significant roles including Senior Product Manager at seerene and Head of 3D Development at ubimake, where notable projects included the development of a web-based marketplace for 3D printing. At SMI SensoMotoric Instruments GmbH, Jan established and led a team focused on eye tracking technology, while earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at sd&m and as Head of Development at razorfish. Jan’s academic background includes a PhD in Computer Science with a specialization in AI and Robotics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and a Dipl. Phys. in Physics and Biophysics from Heidelberg University. Jan is also recognized for leadership as Team Leader of Aibo Team Humboldt, contributing to two RoboCup World Championship victories.
