Mark Westebring has extensive experience in wildlife management and fauna-related consultancy. Since September 2014, Mark has served as a Consulent Faunazaken for BIJ12, providing advisory services on the prevention of wildlife damage, particularly in agriculture, and overseeing compensation claims in the provinces of Gelderland, Overijssel, and Drenthe. Prior to this role, Mark worked as a Waarnemend Coördinator Faunazaken and Beleidsmedewerker Faunazaken at Faunafonds, where responsibilities included policy development and implementation related to wildlife damage from June 2006 to September 2014. Mark's earlier positions included roles at Wageningen UR Livestock Research focusing on animal care and biotechnology and at Het Flevo-landschap managing terrain and public education initiatives. Mark holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Animal Management from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences, obtained between 1998 and 2005.
