Steven Mendel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and entrepreneurship within the insurance and financial services sector. Currently serving as Chair at Bikmo since October 2024, Steven co-founded ManyPets and held the roles of Non-Executive Director and Group CEO from February 2012 to April 2024. Previously, Steven was Chief Executive Officer at Certua from July 2012 to November 2015 and contributed as an Advisory Board Member at Gale and Phillipson between March 2012 and May 2015. Earlier in their career, Steven led the Wealth Management division at Close Brothers Group PLC from October 2009 to February 2012. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Maths with Stats from the University of Leeds and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, having completed the program in 1992.
