Florian Witte

Florian Witte has been the Ressortleiter Sport at BILD since October 2013, overseeing daily sports coverage on digital platforms and spearheading the development of the football podcast "Stammplatz." Prior to this role, Florian served as the Verantwortlicher Redakteur at BILD.de, managing daily sports operations. In addition, Florian was part of the BILD reporting team at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, focusing on ice hockey and figure skating, and also reported at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, specializing in swimming and basketball. Previous experience includes being a Sport-Redakteur at Exit-Sports GmbH, a responsible reporter for Hertha BSC at B.Z. Ullstein GmbH, and serving as a freelance reporter for basketball and ice hockey in Berlin, as well as a freelance editor-in-chief at Forward Basketballmagazin, where planning and editorial management were key responsibilities.
