Timo Lokoschat

Timo Lokoschat is an experienced journalist currently serving as Stellvertretender Chefredakteur at BILD since January 2018, where Timo has contributed significantly to the editorial leadership. Previously, Timo held the position of Arthur F. Burns Fellow at The Wall Street Journal for a brief period in 2018 and served as Leitender Redakteur at DER SPIEGEL from January 2016 to December 2017, focusing on paid content. Timo also has extensive experience at Abendzeitung München Verlags-GmbH, where responsibilities included Stellvertretender Chefredakteur and Ressortleitung München/Bayern between 2010 and 2016, as well as a prior role as Leitender Redakteur und Reporter from January 2002 to January 2010. Timo began his career with a tenure as Programmleiter at Hanser Verlag and has educational qualifications from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and Deutsche Journalistenschule, both completed in 2004.
