Wolfgang Simgen

Wolfgang Simgen possesses extensive experience in software asset management, contract management, and IT governance, primarily within Bilfinger SE and its subsidiaries. Since October 2014, Wolfgang has served as an Application, Contract and License Manager in the CIO Office, managing enterprise-wide Software Asset Management activities with a focus on engineering, HSEQ, and compliance software. Prior roles include IT-Governance and Applications Manager from January 2005 to September 2014, where Wolfgang successfully integrated and consolidated diverse company structures, achieving significant cost savings. Earlier experiences include roles in project management, controlling, and quantity surveying at Bilfinger Berger AG and AMEC, demonstrating a strong background in process optimization and strategic implementation in the construction and engineering sectors. Wolfgang holds a Dipl.Ing. from Fachhochschule Kaiserslautern and has completed further business-related studies at FernUniversität in Hagen.
