Barclay Roman serves as the Director of Engineering & Technology and Head of Security Engineering & Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at H&R Block since September 2021. Previously, Barclay held the role of Director, Global Security & Chief Information Security Officer for Honeywell's Defense & Space division from June 2011 to September 2021, while also contributing as Vice Chairman on the boards of several organizations, including EMS Technologies and Honeywell Aerospace de Puerto Rico. Earlier experience includes various engineering and security positions at Adaptive Methods (acquired by L3Harris) from June 2005 to June 2011. Barclay Roman holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from James Madison University.
