Dan Stein

Dan Stein, CRC, currently serves as the Manager of Underwriting at BILL since June 2022, overseeing the underwriting team for the company's Spend & Expense product. Prior to this role, Dan held various positions including Underwriter Manager and Senior Risk Analyst at Divvy before its acquisition by BILL in 2021, and Risk Analyst at Divvy. Dan's earlier experience includes roles such as Commercial Credit Analyst at Elevations Credit Union and AVP, Portfolio Manager at Heartland Financial USA, Inc., where responsibilities involved comprehensive credit analysis and client relationship management. Dan began a career in finance at Vectra Bank Colorado and Wells Fargo Bank, transitioning from banking to sales management in the health and wellness sector. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
