Defeng Gao

Defeng Gao is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in risk strategy and business analytics. Currently working as a Senior Data Scientist in Risk Strategy at BILL since August 2022, Defeng previously held the position of Business Analytics Senior Manager at Global Lending Services LLC from November 2020 to July 2022. Prior roles include Senior Risk Analyst and Risk Analyst at DFC Global Corp. from February 2017 to October 2020, along with various analytical roles at Aquifer Capital, LLC, Meliora Capital Management LLC, BOCI, Volvo Car Group, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, and Prudential Assurance. Defeng holds a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Shanghai University. Additionally, participation in a Winter Exchange Program in Finance at CUHK Business School further enhances Defeng's academic background.
