John Thornton

John "JohnnyT" Thornton has extensive experience in software engineering and development, currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at BILL since June 2021. Previously, JohnnyT held positions including Staff Engineer at BILL and Staff Software Engineer at Divvy Inc. From July 2014 to October 2019, JohnnyT worked as a Principal Engineer at Nav Inc. and owned Comma Development from 2006 to 2017. Additional roles include engineering positions at Rakuten Marketing and MoneyDesktop, and a Senior Software Engineer role at Alliance Health Networks, where JohnnyT designed and developed a monetization survey engine. JohnnyT's career began with positions at Access Development and MIT Financial, culminating with a partnership at ThinkTroop, Inc., where software for an online survey engine was developed. JohnnyT earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Utah.
