Max Stepin

Max Stepin is currently the SVP Engineering at BILL, beginning in October 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Engineering at Oracle, focusing on Health Data and Analytics from February to October 2023. Max held the position of Senior Engineering Director at Facebook from June 2020 to January 2023, overseeing infrastructure for AI model training and publishing across Meta's products. Prior roles include Senior Engineering Director at Google from July 2013 to June 2020, managing teams responsible for datacenter infrastructure and Google advertising products, and Senior Director at eBay, overseeing logistics and delivery systems from October 2011 to July 2013. Earlier in Max's career, roles included Principal Development Manager at Microsoft working on Bing and Windows Server components, and a software developer at Lionhearth Technologies on a DARPA-funded project. Max holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Irkutsk State University, obtained between 1991 and 1996.
