Michael Shaw

Michael Shaw is an experienced legal professional specializing in corporate, securities, and M&A law. Currently serving as Director, Legal Counsel at BILL since May 2023, Michael previously held the position of Counsel at Fenwick & West from January 2018 to May 2023. Prior to that, Michael worked as a Senior Associate at WilmerHale and as an Associate at Latham & Watkins LLP. A brief stint as Legal Counsel at Deutsche Bank was also part of Michael's career. Michael holds a Juris Doctor degree from Cornell Law School and advanced degrees in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University, where an M.S. and a B.S. were earned, with a focus on International Relations as an additional major. Admitted to practice in California and New York, Michael's expertise spans various facets of corporate law.
