Stephen Roberts

Stephen Roberts has a diverse work experience in roles related to strategic projects, analytics, supply chain, and program management. Stephen is currently working as a Strategic Projects Director at Billigence since July 2020. Prior to that, they worked at EY as an Associate Director in Global Markets Strategy and Analytics from September 2019 to July 2020. Stephen also served as a Senior Supply Chain Consultant at NHS Supply Chain for a brief period in 2020.

Stephen has extensive experience in the retail industry, having worked at Tesco in various roles. Stephen was the Head of Product and Space Data Science, where they built a team and developed advanced analytics tools and machine learning models to optimize merchandising and layout in over 2500 Tesco stores in the UK. Stephen also served as the Head of Analytics - Supply Chain, leading a team to build advanced analytics models and reduce inventory by £107m in one year.

In addition, Stephen has worked as a Senior Global Programme Manager at HomePlus, where they defined and implemented supply chain systems and processes for Tesco's Asia businesses. Stephen also held a similar role at Tesco Lotus, where they focused on aligning supply chain systems and reducing food waste. Prior to that, they worked as a Regional Deployment Manager and Project Manager at Tesco Malaysia and Tesco UK and Ireland, respectively, implementing new systems and processes to improve customer availability and reduce food waste.

Stephen's earlier work experience includes being a Supply Chain Development Analyst at Tesco, where they enhanced the fresh ordering system and developed the supply chain for Tesco's stores in Ireland. Stephen also worked as a Procurement Analyst at Dstl.
