BPT has developed bolt-on applications (BPT-SimApps portfolio) to well-known process simulators like HYSYS and UniSim that meet the requirements for accuracy for the green energy processes in the contexts of feasibility studies, design and optimization. These applications are crucial to be able to analyze start-up and shutdown scenarios for energy systems including hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, electrofuel, CCUS and concentrated solar power as they incorporate fully dynamic unit operations such as electrolysis and reactors.
