Gary Bonner

Gary Bonner has over 20 years of work experience in software development and management roles. Gary is currently the VP of Software Development at Billtrust, where they lead the Business Payments Network and CashApp Engineering teams. Prior to this, Gary worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as an R&D Project Manager, overseeing the development of RESTful microservices and single page applications. Gary also served as the Manager of Software Development at McKesson Provider Technologies, managing agile teams working on the Horizon Clinicals Hospital Enterprise application suite. Additionally, Gary worked as a Solution Manager and Technology Consultant at The Spitfire Group, where they collected and analyzed business/technical requirements for software development projects. Gary also has experience as a Program/Product Manager at ZOLL Data Systems, managing the product lifecycle and performing product management duties for mobile Field Data products. Gary started their career at Westech Mobile Solutions as a Program Manager, overseeing software maintenance, services, and support teams.

Gary Bonner received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Systems Science from Simon Fraser University between 1985 and 1990. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Certified SAFe Agilist (SA) from Scaled Agile, Inc. in November 2015, CSSGB - Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from McKesson in March 2014, CSM - Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in April 2013, and PMP from Project Management Institute in January 2016.
