After completing high school, Jason enrolled at Harrogate College from 1987 to 1989. Jason obtained an OND (Ordinary National Diploma) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.

Following their time at Harrogate College, Jason pursued further education at Sheffield Hallam University from 1989 to 1991. Jason studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a specialization in Microprocessor Applications.
