James McEwan

James McEwan is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the media and advertising sectors. Currently serving as the founding CEO of Billups EMEA since April 2023, McEwan is driving regional development and transforming Out-of-Home planning for the modern performance landscape. Previously, as Chief Operating Officer at Outernet London from September 2019 to April 2023, McEwan was instrumental in establishing a groundbreaking cross-digital-and-physical advertising platform. McEwan’s earlier roles included Deputy Managing Director and Managing Director at dentsu international, where McEwan led initiatives to enhance Out-of-Home services across the APAC region and establish impactful branding strategies. McEwan's career also spans significant positions at Starcom and Initiative, focusing on international account management and media planning. McEwan holds a BSc (Honours) in Cell Biology & Genetics from University College / University of Durham.
