Ivan Burlakov has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ivan began their career in 2005 as a Software Developer at Deimand LLC, where they led a small team in developing a video streaming site. In 2008, they worked as a .Net Developer at Oggetto, focusing on building an e-commerce site and maintaining legacy projects.
In 2009, Ivan joined Check4 Ltd as a Software Engineer, where they led the development of a mass CV ingestion tool and ensured the performance optimization of the website. Ivan also had close communication with the client's development team.
From 2010 to 2020, Ivan worked at Syncplicity as a Software Developer, contributing to the development of file sharing and collaboration services for enterprise customers. Ivan also designed and developed the Slack integration plugin.
In 2009, they joined Distillery as a Software Developer, where they maintained and supported a job posting/searching site and developed a mass data ingestion tool. Ivan later became a Senior Software Developer in charge of developing applications for clients and participating in agile development processes.
Starting in 2020, Ivan worked at FilmTrack as a Software Developer and later as a Development Team Lead. In their role as Team Lead, they were responsible for leading a small team in modernizing one of the subsystems, working with AWS services, data migrations, and performance testing.
Currently, Ivan holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at billwerk, where they utilize their skills and experience to contribute to the development of software projects.
Ivan Burlakov obtained their Engineer's degree in Computer Science and Information Security from the Southern Federal University (former Rostov State University) from 2001 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications. These include the following:

- M320: MongoDB Data Modeling from MongoDB, obtained in January 2023

- Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft, obtained in April 2012.
