Ahmed Q.

Ahmed Q. has a long and varied work experience. Ahmed began their career in 2000 as a Commissioned Officer - SELRES in the US Navy. Ahmed then moved on to their first corporate role as Vice President - Global Business Development at INVESTools, Inc. in the same year. In 2004, they co-founded and became COO of Harbinger Associates LLC/Harbinger Technologies Group Inc., a role they held until the company was acquired in 2005. Ahmed then became President of Harbinger Technologies Group Inc. until it was acquired in 2007. In 2008, they founded and became President of Harbinger Technologies Group, LLC, which was acquired in 2010. Ahmed has also served as an Advisory Board Member for Avantar, LLC since 2015 and Global Language Systems LLC since 2007. Additionally, they have been an Adjunct Professor of Middle East Studies - USAFSOS at the United States Air Force since 2004 and Vice President - Marketing (Middle East/North Africa) at DynCorp International since 2014. Most recently, they have been President & COO (Co-Founder & Director) of BILT Incorporated since 2015.

Ahmed Q. has a diverse educational background. Ahmed holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Middle East & Mediterranean Studies from King's College London, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Thunderbird School of Global Management with a focus in International Business, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Near Eastern Studies & Arabic from Brigham Young University. Ahmed also has a Master of Science (MSc) in Strategic Intelligence (Executive Program) from the National Intelligence University. Additionally, Ahmed has diplomas from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in Afghan Farsi (Dari), Joint Forces Staff College, National Defense University in Joint & Combined Warfighting School, U.S. Naval War College in Navy Command & Staff School, Culver Academies in Culver Military Academy - General Studies & Leadership, and the Arabian American Oil Company (Aramco) Schools in General Studies.
