CAD Design Engineer at BILT

Dave Prusock has over 15 years of professional experience, beginning in 2006 as a Network Engineer at Verizon Wireless. In this role, they managed a ~$60M+ annual capital budget and led a cross functional team in the design and engineering of new wireless proof of concept products and services into the production network. In 2018, they founded and acted as Product Designer for Lava Wood Creations, leveraging their industry background and entrepreneurial initiative to conceptualize and found a business using CNCs for small scale manufacturing. Here, they conducted market research and prototype development for a creative product line, and conceptualized ideas into functional CAD models using SolidWorks. In 2020, they worked as a CNC Machinist at IMF & Assembly Inc., independently performing the initial tooling setup of new CAM programs to produce first article parts conforming to strict GD&T, and optimizing NC programs in MasterCAM to maximize production efficiency on Haas VF and UMC mills. Dave also designed and fabricated custom fixtures and tooling for manufacturing. Currently, Dave is employed as a CAD Designer I at BILT Incorporated (3D Intelligent Instructions®).

Dave Prusock obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers School of Engineering between 2002 and 2006. Dave also holds a Certified SolidWorks Professional CSWP certification from Dassault Systèmes, which they obtained in April 2021.
