The BIM Manifesto advocates for a thoughtful and responsible approach to Building Information Modeling (BIM), focusing on its core principles and values to make BIM usage more deliberate and effective. It serves as a guide to help project participants—from clients to designers, contractors, and beyond—embrace BIM as a tool for collaboration, clarity, and sustainable outcomes.

The manifesto highlights the importance of aligning expectations with realistic goals, avoiding frustration caused by overcomplicated or poorly defined requirements. By adopting its principles, professionals can streamline processes, reduce inefficiencies, and achieve better project results while fostering trust and transparency among all stakeholders.
