Christopher Purt

Christopher Purt is an experienced operations and quality management professional with a strong background in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as the Bimeda Operations Manager for Europe since April 2015, Christopher oversees quality and operations across multiple manufacturing sites in Ireland and the UK, focusing on supply chain and CMO management. Prior roles include Plant Manager and QA Manager at Bimeda UK, where responsibilities encompassed ensuring compliance with GMP and GDP, managing quality assurance processes, and supporting EU pharmaceutical importation. Previous experience includes a Quality Engineer role at Microvisk and a Technical Operations Scientist position at Siemens Healthcare, with a foundation in quality assurance and technical support from earlier roles at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics. Christopher holds a degree in Applied Sports Science from the University of South Wales.
