Xavier Molins

Xavier Molins has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Xavier held the position of Chair of the Board of Directors at Access VetMed starting in September 2023. Prior to that, they were the Vice Chairman of the Board at the same company from October 2021 to September 2023. Before joining Access VetMed, Xavier worked at Bimeda Ireland as the Head of R&D and Regulatory Affairs (EU) from October 2009. Xavier was responsible for providing operational direction in these areas and leading new product development and registration activities. From 2005 to 2009, Xavier worked at Bioniche Teo as a Product Development Senior Manager, where they managed R&D personnel and projects and developed pharmaceutical products for US and European markets. Xavier also has experience as an R&D Senior Formulation Scientist at Taro Pharmaceuticals from 2003 to 2005, focusing on the development of parenteral solutions and emulsions. Xavier started their career at Laboratorios HIPRA, S.A. in 1995 as an R&D Pharmacology Senior Scientist, where they conducted formulation and analytical studies and worked on vaccine development and scale-up.

Xavier Molins pursued their higher education at the University of Wales from 2010 to 2012. During this time, they obtained a degree in Business Administration. Prior to that, they attended the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 1988 to 1993, where they earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Chemistry.
