James Gu

James Gu has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. James started their career as a Junior Test Engineer at Qlik in September 2018 and worked there until March 2019. From March 2019 to December 2019, James worked at Axis Communications as part of their master's thesis. In 2020, they joined AFRY as a Software Developer, where they developed a full-stack content management system using Node.js and Vue. Later in 2020, James moved to BIMobject and held multiple roles. James started as a Software Developer, working on the BIMobject Marketplace, and then became a Scrum Master. Currently, they serve as a Senior Software Developer at BIMobject.

James Gu earned a Master of Science in Engineering degree from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University from 2014 to 2019. James'sfield of study was focused on Computer Science, Information and Communication Engineering Technologies. In addition to their degree, they obtained various certifications including "Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark," "Functional Program Design in Scala," "Parallel programming," "Functional Programming Principles in Scala," and "Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)". James received these certifications from institutions such as Coursera and Scrum Alliance, with the most recent certification obtained in October 2021.
