Georgia Modenesi

Georgia Modenesi is a compliance professional specializing in risk management, anti-money laundering (AML), and governance in the cryptocurrency sector. Having completed a law degree at the University of Porto and a bachelor's degree in law from FDV, Georgia undertook a curricular internship at the 5th Criminal Division of The Law Court. From 2020 to 2022, they served as an AML Analyst at Natixis in Portugal, focusing on due diligence for high-net-worth clients across multiple countries. Currently, Georgia leads the AML First Line of Defense for Binance in Europe and Latin America, managing a team to ensure compliance with complex regulations while implementing innovative AI-driven solutions. They are also pursuing an MBA at Porto Business School.
