Garrett Thompson

Garrett Thompson is a seasoned professional in cyber intelligence with extensive experience at Binary Defense since April 2018, holding the position of Senior Intelligence Specialist after starting as a Junior Intelligence Specialist. In this role, Garrett is responsible for creating daily cyber intelligence assessments on emerging threats and trends, analyzing known indicators, and correlating events to provide early warnings about cyber threats. Garrett also collects and analyzes open-source intelligence and monitors information feeds and threat actor activities. Prior to Binary Defense, Garrett worked at FedEx Ground from March 2015 to May 2016 as a Loader, focusing on the loading and unloading of packages. Garrett holds a degree from Kent State University at Stark, obtained between 2015 and 2018, and graduated from Jackson High School in 2013.
