Jacob Aurand

Jacob Aurand has extensive experience in counterintelligence, currently serving as Counterintelligence Manager and Lead at Binary Defense since May 2016. Responsibilities include overseeing team outputs for accuracy, collecting and analyzing OSINT and HUMINT, monitoring threats, and producing daily intelligence briefs. Jacob also maintains and reviews threat actor reports and manages client relations. Prior to this role, Jacob worked as an Intelligence Specialist at Binary Defense, where similar analytical tasks were performed. Earlier experience includes serving as an Intramural Sports Official Supervisor at Kent State University and as a Production Employee at Steak n Shake. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Computer Information Systems from Kent State University, completed in 2019.
