David P. Shea

David P. Shea is currently the Director of Client Advisory Services at Marcum LLP, where they leverage over 25 years of financial experience to assist early-growth companies with strategic planning and performance maximization. David previously held several leadership roles, including CFO positions at XL Capital Finance and Syncora Capital Ltd., overseeing transactions valued over $8B. They began their career in finance after earning a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an MBA from Fordham University, where their interest in business development was cultivated as Treasurer of the rugby club. In addition to their work at Marcum, David founded Copper Beech Ventures LLC, focusing on transaction management services for small businesses.
