Michael A. Gould, CPA, ASA (retired) is an experienced finance and operations professional who is available to serve as an independent board member and to consult on business valuations. They prepare appraisals for strategic planning, litigation support, financing, tax reporting and financial reporting, with expertise that includes mergers and acquisitions, sales of a business, split-ups/spin-offs, succession planning, liquidation/reorganization, mediation/arbitration, buy/sell agreements, estate and gift taxes, business interruption, dissenting shareholder actions, matrimonial, and partner disputes. They have qualified as an expert witness on valuations and alimony and child support issues and other business disputes. They serve as Director, Business Valuation & Litigation Services Group at Rotenberg Meril Solomon Bertiger & Guttilla, P.C., and are retired from Marcum LLP.
