Thomas Löhr

Thomas Löhr is a computational biophysicist and co-founder of bindresearch.org, where they serve as the Head of Compute. They currently work as a Senior Scientist at AstraZeneca, following a postdoctoral research associate position at the University of Cambridge from 2021 to 2022. With a PhD in Computational Biophysics from the University of Cambridge and a Master's and Bachelor's in Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich, Thomas has focused on the kinetics of disordered proteins, aiming to integrate simulation and machine learning for drug design. Their work has led to collaborative projects, publications, and contributions to open-source software, alongside active mentoring roles.
