JP Fabri is an applied economist and Africa-focused entrepreneur with extensive local and international experience. They have served in key roles, including as the independent non-executive director of LifeStar Insurance plc and co-founder of myUbuntu, which aims to empower smallholder farmers in Africa. Previously, JP was part of the private office of the former Prime Minister of Malta and a governor at the Central Bank of Malta, where they contributed to economic policy and governance assessments for nine governments. Currently, JP is a visiting assistant lecturer at the University of Malta, teaching various economics courses.
