𝐁𝐢𝐨-𝐀𝐥𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐦𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐝-𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 (𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐍: 𝟏𝟖𝟗𝟔-𝟓𝟑𝟎𝐗) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal serving as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and information in the interdisciplinary fields of computational methods, detection systems used in all specialties of biology and medicine. This ranges from omics to systems biology, from data acquisition and imaging to telemedicine and therapy, from signal registration and processing to image reconstruction and visualization, from artificial intelligence (AI) to virtual reality (VR).

The journal targets researchers, including biomedical engineers, physicists, computer scientists, and mathematicians worldwide, facilitating the sharing of the latest ideas and advances through rapid online publication of original research in healthcare technology.

BAMS aims to: push the boundaries of knowledge in the fields of biophysics, structural biology, bioinformatics, biomedical engineering, anatomical and molecular imaging, medical physics and telemedicine, publish state-of-the-art designs for imaging methods, modelling and simulation algorithms, disseminate high-quality discoveries and research results (Original Articles), also at a rapid pace by publishing short articles describing preliminary research and promoting free online publications.
