Michael Hammond has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michael started their career as a Buyer at Litton Sperry Marine in 1997, where they were responsible for submitting quote requests and reviewing quotes from multiple manufacturers and distributors. In 2000, they joined Gold Violin, Inc. as the Manager of Vendor Relations/Inventory Planning, where they worked with over 300 product vendors to establish positive relationships and managed the drop-shipment distribution process. Michael then moved to PBM Products in 2001 as a Purchasing Manager, where they were responsible for negotiations, contract management, and supplier service issues for a $200 million baby food and OTC manufacturer. In 2005, they joined Gold Violin as the V.P. of Wholesale, where they launched and merchandised products in major retailers such as Wal-Mart, Long's Drug Stores, and Walgreens, and managed the day-to-day relationship with QVC. In 2011, they became the Director of Sales/Operations at firstSTREET, where they served until 2013. Finally, they joined BIO-CAT Enzymes & Microbials in 2013 as a Senior Account Manager, where they are currently employed.
Michael Hammond attended Albemarle High School from 1981 to 1985. Michael then pursued higher education at Radford University from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.
