Aep Saefuddin

Aep Saefuddin has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development, with a focus on vaccine production. Aep started their career at Bio Farma - Indonesia in 2010 as a Research and Development Staff, where they developed upstream production processes for the Human Influenza Vaccine project. Aep achieved process validation for Egg Based technology of Human Trivalent Influenza Vaccine Production and underwent Biomanufacturing Training in Utah State University, USA. Later, they served as a Viral Vaccine Production Staff, where they established a cultivation method for sIPV in a bioreactor using microcarriers. Aep also worked as an Influenza Vaccine Production Staff, contributing to the development of the Quadrivalent Human Influenza Vaccine. Aep Saefuddin then transitioned to the role of Scientist, leading the product development team in the clinical production phase 3 for the Human Rotavirus RV3 Strain Vaccine. Most recently, they served as the Secretary to the Research and Business Development Director at Bio Farma - Indonesia. Before joining Bio Farma, Aep Saefuddin had an internship at Pertamina as an HSE Staff in 2008.

Aep Saefuddin began their education in 2005 at Institut Teknologi Bandung, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. Aep completed their undergraduate studies but did not specify an end year.

In 2012, Aep Saefuddin briefly attended Utah State University for non-degree studies in Biomanufacturing.

Later, in 2018, they enrolled in Institut Teknologi Bandung again, this time for an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on business strategy and marketing. In January 2017, they also earned a certification on branding from Neil Blumenthal through LinkedIn. Lastly, in June 2020, Aep Saefuddin obtained a certification titled "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from LinkedIn.
